MAM telemetry for 1980s Porsche 911

Here is data on an 80s 911 with hoosiers (check out the lat G numbers!). Heres the lap map and corner by corner analysis:

Heres the min/max/avg track data. Notice the lateral G loads, pretty high. Hoosiers stick well. The brakes don't look so good give the tires. So, a brake upgrade would likely help. We've seen a 996 with Pilot Cups at -1.4+G so a heavier car with less sticky tires. Acceleration wise, it's comparable to the other cars we tested. The only thing that stands out as needing an upgrade is brakes.

Heres an mph graph with long G overlaid for braking points. It's correlated with the corner segment. Driver looks smooth.

Here is the same car and driver on lap 14 of a 15 lap race. The driver is pushing much harder and has cut over 5 seconds. Blue is lateral G and red is forward G. Image:MAMdata2.JPG
