Turn 1

For Supermotards with their limited top speed, entry into Turn 1 is as simple as staying to the outside left, setting up your body for the turn and leaning it in. There is a sealer patch in the middle of the turn that is a bit bumpy at full lean if you miss your apex, so you want to make sure you hit your apex.

On a 600, I downshift a single gear and tap the brakes quickly to scrub off some speed before leaning it in. I would assume that a lot of the faster guys simply downshift and let the engine braking do it's thing as they have a much higher corner speed than me.

Turn 2

To me, Turn 2 is just a continuation of Turn 1. Nelson Ledges has always perplexed me with their multiple numbers for a single corner.

Turn 3

If you come wide out Turn 1/2, you can carry your speed all the way through Turn 3 without letting off. There's a small sealer patch in the inside of the corner but it generally is not an issue.
