OK, it has been many years (since mid 70s) since I have raced this track but somebody needs to start. so here goes... and when I raced it I was club racing on a bike.

Turn 1

Is basically a nothing. The only time one needs to worry here is if the pack is sorting itself out. I'd hate to ride anything which was so fast down the straight that your braking mark for turn two was back before turn one.

Turn 2

Turn two begins the downhill series of turns two and three. I always had trouble with this turn, would never go into it hard enough. On a bike the camber makes it possible to get a fast line if you can really get the apex just right, but if you don't, you are in trouble.

Turn 3

These two turns are slow, often congested, and not a good place to race. The entry is downhill, and it's easy to end up wide out of the first one and then you are in trouble for the second.

Several times in practice, and once in a race, I've seen riders on very light bikes exit straight out of the first turn across the grass and slide down onto the track below the second. Not something I'd try, particularly with anything else on course.

Turn 4

A turn you can mostly ignore except for what it does to your sight lines
