Threshold Braking

This is the way people are taught to brake on a track. Basically, you want to apply enough pressure to the brake pedal to get the wheel spinning around 15% slower than the car. If you brake any harder then you should lock up the wheel or cause the cars ABS to engage. You can practise this by doing controlled stops where you try to stop in a box from 75mph.
