Turn 1

This is T1 of the NASCAR oval--fairly steep banking and a very highspeed corner. Stay high on the entry and very smoothly turn in towards the curbing on the inside; you can more or less follow the scrapes and tire marks on the pavement to find the right line. If you can't do the turn flat in your car, make sure you breathe off the throttle BEFORE turning in, then go back to "maintenance" throttle all the way through thr corner. Look way ahead and make sure you begin to straighten up a little bit early because the braking zone for T2 starts before you get off the banking.

Turn 2

Begin braking well before the banking completely flatens out. Ease off the brakes as you turn in and begin to feed the car a little bit of power as you come down to the infield. Turn in such that one arc (no change of the steering input) puts you at all three points on the inside (3 apexes).

Turn 3

Start braking around the kink and trail brake a little bit as you turn in. Apex at the center of the corner and hover a tire over the dirt--there's no curbing and a bit of a drop off at the edge of the pavement. Smooth on the power and exit all the way to the right.

Turn 4

This is the tight, right hand hairpin. Brake just before cresting the small hill approaching the corner and clip the corner where the pavement gets wider. Be very patient and turn in very late. As I remember, the yellow rectangle painted on the inside is pretty accurate for an apex here. Leave a couple feet at the track out so that you can get back to the right side of the track for the kink coming up.

Turn 5

Depending on the car, you will probably have to lift off the throttle just a little bit here to set weight on the front tires. Turn in earlier than you otherwise would, because the track kind of falls away from you near the apex. Use a little dirt here too because your inside wheel(s) will be light. After tracking out, bring the car back towards center track a bit in order to straighten out the braking zone past the kink.

Turn 6

Turn in about half way across the access road on the right. Be careful of the drop off at the apex. Track out at the patch that crosses the entire width of the track. Stay on the right half of the track to set up for the last corner. Be mindful of anyone ahead of you that may be taking a hard right into the pits.

Turn 7

Pretty straight forward corner that is probably flat in most cars, but the pavement transitions can be bumpy at are off camber just a bit in places. Simply be mindful of your car's stability across these seams and respect that nasty cement wall on the outside.
